This three DVD box set includes eleven films made by Jonathan Meades for the BBC from 1990 to 2008. Meades explore the ways human beings interact with the structures and places they create. With a distinctive style and presentation, Meades visits some of the places that he sees as important, not just for their architecture, but also for the inherent properties they project. He also shares his views on such diverse topics as Bohemia, Belgium, the Fens, fast food, and the meaning of ‘Northernness’.

This release present a fresh HEVC 10-bit color encoding from the original DVDs. The set features 11 TV episodes from 6 TV series, as well as an introduction by Jonathan Meades that includes notes for each episode presented, and a concluding interview conducted by Mark Lawson. All are encoded at their native resolutions, with 4:3 video on the first 7 episodes and 16:9 for the final 4 episodes and both featurettes.

These episodes are hard to get a hold of in good quapty elsewhere and the collection is long out of print. Feel free to bring this file-download to any other file-download community you use. Just make sure to keep the current description.
